The world’s natural resources are finite, and some are in very short supply. SYR recognised that in manufacturing products made using recycled plastic they could reduce the use of fossil fuel hydrocarbons, reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions.
The SYR SWITCH range uses waste materials destined for landfill, recycled plastics, regrind plastics and thoughtful design to allow you to be kinder to the environment, without compromising your pocket or the quality of work completed.

SYR is proud to have EPD-certified products within our Motion trolley ranges, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility by providing independently verified information about a product’s environmental impact across its entire lifecycle, from raw material extraction through to disposal, helping businesses and consumers make informed, sustainable choices.
SYR Motion ISO 14067 Verification
For all standard and bespoke trolleys, we can provide environmental impact data in accordance with ISO 14067, the international standard for measuring and reporting the carbon footprint of a product (CFP), based on recognised life cycle assessment methodologies.

Solar Panels
Since 2015 we have used solar panels for our main UK headquarters, and have created a system for reducing waste to almost 0% in the manufacturing environment by recycling regrind plastic and used cleaning tools with our Switch Framework scheme. We operate all our facilities within all applicable laws, regulations and permits, and constantly seek efficient and sustainable improvements reduce environmental impact and improve standards.
