A refurbished Scouts hut is being kept in top condition thanks to a donation of cleaning equipment by SYR. When SYR’s FOCUS team heard that 1st Quarry Bank Scouts were seeking the help of local companies, she was delighted to offer her expertise. She advised on a colour coded system: red for the toilets and green, the colour of the Scouts, for general areas – as well as providing equipment including a Lady 2 combo for both flat and wet mopping of the new safety floor, plus high level dusting tools, brushware, cloths and bins.
“We are very grateful as we can now keep the new floor in good condition. We really appreciate all the equipment, it is a lot more than we expected. Our funds are very limited and we have to rely on local companies and fundraisers to help us, so SYR’s help means we have more funds to use on the activities.”
